CAUTION!

Metra recommends disconnecting the negative bat

tery terminal before beginning any installation, unless the vehicle

manufacturer recommends against so. Please check with your local

Dealership for more information. All accessories, switches, climate

controls panels, and especially air bag indicator lights must be con

nected before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition. Also,

do not remove the factory radio with the key in the on position, or the

vehicle running. It would be best to remove the key from the ignition

and then wait a few seconds before removing the factory radio.

99-7505 Dash Disassembly 1. Using a panel removal tool, carefully remove the trim covers from both sides of the radio. (Figure A) 2. Insert (2) sets of Ford radio removal keys (Metra 86-5618), into the sides of the radio until they snap in. (Figure B) 3. Gripping both sets of removal keys, pull them outward away from the radio, then slide the radio out of the radio cavity.

99-7505 Kit Assembly DIN radio provision with pocket 1. Remove the metal DIN sleeve from the aftermarket radio. 2. Slide the sleeve into the radio housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) 3. Slide the radio back into the sleeve until it clicks in. (Figure B) 4. Installation instructions for part 99-7505 Kit Assembly IMPORTANT ISO DDIN radio provision 1. Using a utility knife, carefully cut the center bar out of the ISO DDIN trim panel. (Figure A) 2. Attach the ISO DDIN brackets onto the ISO DDIN trim plate, aligning the holes in the trim plate to the clips on the bracket. (Figure B) 3. Slide the radio into the trim plate/ REV. 11/30/2015 INST99-7505 bracket assembly, and then secure the it to the assembly using the screws supplied with the radio.

99-7505 Desmontaje del tablero 1. Con una herramienta de remoción de paneles, quite con cuidado las cubiertas de la moldura de ambos lados del radio. (Figura A) 2. Inserte (2) juegos de herramientas de remoción de radio Ford (Metra 86-5618), en los lados hasta que entren a presión. (Figura B) 3. Sujetando ambos lados de las herramientas de remoción, jálelas hacia usted y después deslice el radio fuera de la cavidad.

Deslice la manga en la carcasa del radio y sujétela doblando hacia abajo las pestañas de metal. (Figura A) 3. Deslice el radio de nuevo en la manga hasta que haga clic. (Figura B) 4. Con una navaja utilitaria, cuidadosamente recorte la barra central del panel de la moldura ISO DDIN. (Figura A) 2. Sujete los soportes en la placa de la moldura ISO DDIN, alineando los orificios de la placa de la moldura ISO DDIN con los ganchos del soporte. (Figura B) 3. Deslice el radio en el ensamble del REV.
