DASH DISASSEMBLY Attention! Turn the fan speed all the way up, and then turn the recirculation button off, prior to turning the vehicle off and removing the radio/climate control assembly. 3. Unclip and remove the hazard button above the factory radio, and remove (1) Phillips screw exposed between the a/c vents. (Figure C) 1. Unclip and remove the (2) trim panels on either side of the radio. The driver side trim will have the cabin temperature sensor attached to it (Figures A, B) 4.

DASH DISASSEMBLY (CONT) 5. Remove (2) 5/16” bolts under the radio facing up that secure the radio brackets. (Figure E) 6. Unclip, unplug and then remove the factory radio/climate control assembly. KIT ASSEMBLY ISO DIN radio provision with pocket 1. Attach the (8) PC-7871B panel clips to the 99-7809 radio trim panel. 8. Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna plug in the dash and make all necessary connections to the radio. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapters from Metra and/or AXXESS. 2. Attach (1) #8 speed clip provided to each radio bracket as shown. (Figure A) Note: This will be the lower mounting point where the factory 5/16” screws were removed. 3.

KIT ASSEMBLY ISO DDIN radio provision 1. Attach the (8) PC-7871B panel clips to the 99-7809 radio trim panel. 6. Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna plug in the dash and make all necessary connections to the radio. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapters from Metra and/or AXXESS. 2. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS From the 20-pin harness: • Connect the Red wire to the ignition wire of the aftermarket radio. • Connect the Yellow wire to the radio’s 12-volt battery or memory wire. • Connect the Black wire to the radio’s ground wire. • Connect the Blue wire to the antenna turn on wire of the aftermarket radio. (if applicable) • Connect the Orange wire to the illumination wire of the aftermarket radio. If the aftermarket radio has no illumination wire just tape off the Orange/White wire.

99-7809B I N S TA L L AT I O N I N S T R U C T I O N S KIT PROGRAMMING After all connections are made and before installing the radio assembly into the dash, you must program the kit. 1. **** Before programming the climate controls, make sure all connections are made to the Metra climate controls and the temperature sensor on the driver side dash trim is plugged in, failure to do so will cause the kit to not program properly.
