CAUTION: Metra recommends disconnecting the negative battery

terminal before beginning any installation, unless the vehicle

manufacturer recommends against so. Please check with your

local Dealership for more information. All accessories, switches,

climate controls panels, and especially air bag indicator lights

must be connected before reconnecting the battery or cycling

the ignition. Also, do not remove the factory radio with the key

in the on position, or the vehicle running. It would be best to

remove the key from the ignition and then wait a few seconds

before removing the factory radio.

Remove (2) screws above the radio in the vent cavity. (Figure C) 2. Unsnap and remove the vent assembly above the radio. (Figure B) 1. Unsnap and remove the shifter trim.

Continued on next page 8. Remove (4) outer corner Phillips screws from the climate control circuit board. (Figure K) 7. Remove (4) Philips screws to remove the climate control back plate. (Figure J) 6. Unsnap the radio chassis and controls from the climate control and side trim panels. (Figure I) 5. Remove the factory radio brackets.

Continue to kit preparation 12. Modify the factory climate control, removing the side panel mounting tabs, as shown in the diagram. (Figure O) 11. Using a pick tool, remove the (2) temp switches from the side panels. (Figure N) 10. Unclip and remove the factory side trim panels. (Figure M) 9. Remove (2) Philips screws to separate the side trim panels from the climate control.

Continue to kit assembly 2. Mount the modified climate controls to the radio trim panel with the (4) screws previously removed. (Figure B) 1. Snap the factory climate switches into the radio trim panel.

1. Connect the radio brackets to the radio housing trim panel with the (4) #8 x 3/8” Phillips screws supplied and use the factory screws to attach the brackets to the factory climate controls. (Figure A) 2. Mount the pocket to the bracket/ panel assembly with the (4) #8 x 3/8” Phillips screws supplied. (Figure B) 3. Remove the metal “DIN” sleeve and trim ring from the aftermarket radio. 4. Slide the radio into the assembly and secure with screws supplied with the radio. (Figure C) 5.

4. Mount the new radio assembly into the dash and reassemble the dash in reverse order of disassembly. 3. Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna plug in the dash and make all necessary connections to the radio. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapters from Metra and/or AXXESS. 2. Slide the radio into the assembly and secure with screws supplied with the radio. (Figure B) 1.

Provisión de radio doble DIN 1. Conecte los soportes del radio al panel de la moldura de la carcasa del radio con los (4) tornillos Phillips #8 x 3/8” suministrados y use los tornillos de fábrica para fijar los soportes a los controles de clima de fábrica. 1. Coloque a presión los interruptores del clima de fábrica en el panel de la moldura del radio. (Figura A) 2. Monte los controles de clima modificados en el panel de moldura del radio con los (4) tornillos retirados previamente.

9. Quite (2) tornillos Phillips para separar los paneles de la moldura del control de clima. (Figura L) 10. Desenganche y quite los paneles de moldura laterales de fábrica. (Figura M) 11. Con una herramienta en punta, quite los (2) interruptores de temperatura de los paneles laterales. (Figura N) 12. Modifique el control de clima de fábrica, quitando las pestañas de montaje del panel lateral, como se muestra en el diagrama.
