The contactless tester MD116 is characterized by the fol-
lowing features:
 Designed to meet general requirements of standards
EN61010.
 Measurement Category (CAT) IV 1000 V.
 Contactless voltage testing between 12 V and 1000 V (2
sensitivities).
 Check for cable breaks.
 Phase detection on sockets.
 Voltage test through red LED, vibration motor and buzzer.
 Self test during product start.
 On-indication.
 Empty battery indication.
 Auto power off.
 Torch light.
 IP65 (IEC60529).
After unpacking, check that the instrument is undamaged.
The product package comprises:
 One (1) MD116 tester.
 Two (2) AAA batteries 1.5 V.
 Operating instructions.
Safety Measures
WARNING!
The tester has been constructed and tested in ac-
cordance with the safety regulations for voltage test-
ers and has left the factory in a safe and perfect condi-
tion.
