3.8. Maintenance
3.8.1. Batteries
Instrument contains rechargeable NiCd or NiMh batteries. Do NOT replace
with alkaline cells. These batteries should only be replaced with the same type
as defined on the battery cover label or in this manual.
Hazardous voltages exist inside this Instrument. Disconnect all test leads,
remove the power supply cable and switch off instrument before removing
battery compartment cover.
If it is necessary to replace batteries, all four MUST be replaced. Ensure batteries
are installed with the correct polarity; incorrect polarity can damage the batteries
and/or the Instrument.
