For quick checking of the connections in ohmmeter mode.
❯ Protection on all calibres
Even in ohmmeter mode, the application of a voltage of 400 Veff does not
cause any damage. This function is protected, without a fuse, by a reliable,
ultra-fast electronic system. The inputs can resist transient pulses of up to
6 kV. The current ranges, on the other hand, are protected by 600 V high
rupture capacity (HRC) fuses.
❯ Safety alarms
– blown fuses indicated by a LED
– in ohmmeter mode, audible alarm if there is a mains AC voltage on the
input. There is also a LED which indicates if any fuses blow
❯ AC current measurements
Delivered with a current clamp, the MX 2B measures AC currents up to 200 A,
in total safety, as the MN 09 clamp prevents any opening of the main circuit.
