2 Follow the directions below to install the receiver.

Access the back of the circuit board (on stoves open

the side panel - on inserts, remove the surround panel -

refer to the owner's manual for details).

Newport & Pioneer Stoves

place the remote receiver upright against the back panel

behind the flow switch (failure to properly place the

receiver will lead to heat damage).

Make sure the appliance is unplugged before installing the remote receiver.

Attach the electrical connector from the receiver to the

circuit board.

WARNING: The wires must not contact any hot or moving components

(use lock-ties if necessary).

Newport Bay & Pioneer Bay Pellet Inserts

place the remote receiver on the floor of the fireplace, near

the control board.

Yankee Pellet

place the remote receiver flat

underneath the convection blower.

3 Plug the pellet heater in and press the button on the receiver to reset the security code. Test operation of

the remote.
