Pellet Stove Restrictor Setting
CONDITION
Stove goes out on
low burn
Unburnt pellets are
blowing out of burn
pot
Close the restrictor
providing more
restriction
of air flow
(Too much air)
Open the restrictor
less restriction
of air flow
(Too little air)
Fly ash remains in
the burn pot
Pellet smoothers
the fire
Stove works fine
during day but at night
goes out leaving an
unburnt pile of pellets
(Due to cooler night
temperature, draft in
vent increases)
