7.6.2 Prepare instrument for diagnostic test

Power off.

Disconnect all cables at rear panel, except mains cable and connecting cable
to VA Stand.

Power on.

Prepare instrument for diagnostic test (see section 7.6.2).

A test printout is outputted (see following page).
• Check printout for completeness and neatness.
• The character set (the first five lines) must match the specimen.
• The very top and very bottom points of a line must be printed clearly;
check K and p especially.
• The printout must have a total length of 260 mm (tolerance: ± 10 mm)

Press <ESC> several times until the ”MONITORING” page appears.
