5.6 Commands
5.6.1 General
Definition
A command is a part of a track with the following general properties:
Command type
Each Command type defines the function of the command. The identi-
fication of the command type (short description in capital letters) can-
not be changed.
Command name
Each command has got a selectable command name. It has to be
unambiguous within the method.
Note
In case a command has been renamed afterwards, the cross references to this
command (e.g. command variables) are adjusted automatically.
Command parameters
The number and type of command parameters depend on the com-
mand type and can be edited in the command properties window.
Commands in the sequence
Commands within the same track are carried out one after the other.
Appearance
Commands are displayed double-spaced. The first row contains the name of the
command type (e.g.
DET pH, CALC) and the second row contains a selectable
command name. The default command name is composed of the command type
and a consecutive number.
The command types are structured by the following colors:
Orange
Track commands
Green
Titration and measurement commands
Yellow
Automation and dosing commands
Blue
All remaining commands
