2.1 Program parts
tiamo has four different program parts which can be opened by clicking on the
corresponding symbol in the vertical bar at the left-hand margin. The symbole for
the program part opened is shown in color, the symbols for the other program
parts in black and white. The menues, toolbars, and the content of the main win-
dow depend on the program part opened.

• Open/close workplaces
• Start single determinations and determination series
• Sample tables
• Manual operation of instruments
Program part Database
• Open/close databases
• Database manager
• Reprocessing
• Creation of report templates
Program part Method
• Open/close existing methods
• Create new methods
• Method manager
Program part Configuration
• Configuration of instruments, solutions, sensors, com-
mon variables, and rack data
• Security settings
• User administration
• Program administration
• Audit Trail
Note
The access to the different program parts can be switched off in the User ad-
ministration. In this case, the corresponding symbols will be hidden.
