4.6 Terminal settings
This menu can be used to adapt the terminal to your requirements and adjust the display.
The following parameters are available:
“Brightness”
This menu can be used to set the brightness of the display. If necessary, alter the bright-
ness between 20 % and 100 % (in steps of 20 %) using the arrow keys. Each time one
of the two arrow keys is pressed, the brightness is altered immediately so that you can
see the change right away.
Factory setting: 80 %
Note: If the balance has not been used for 15 minutes, the brightness of the display is
reduced automatically. This prolongs the service life of the backlighting. As soon as a key
is pressed or the weight changes, the brightness is reset to the value selected here.
“Contrast” (not available with TFT Terminal)
Setting for the display contrast (range from 0 % - 100 % contrast). Set in the same way
as the brightness but in 2 % steps.
Factory setting: 50 %
“Left Doorkey K / Right Doorkey K” (only microbalances with revolving door)
Door right: Draft shield turns to the right and weighing chamber is acces-
sible from the left.
Door left: Draft shield turns to the left and weighing chamber is acces-
sible from the right.
Factory setting: Left Doorkey = “Door right”
Right Doorkey = “Door left”
