Obtaining the lighting mood:

Thanks to modern ﬂash controllers such as, for

example, E-TTL, i-TTL, P-TTL, and ADI, the light

output of Metz system ﬂash units can be control-

led by the camera. If the existing lighting mood

is to be retained, it is important to use a shutter

time that is longer than the ﬂash synch time. For

portraits, however, an exposure time of 1/60

second should not be exceeded.
