The advantages of an Ethernet-based network are:
■ A larger number of loudspeakers may exist on a single
network
■ A wider area of available locations
■ Improved network speed
CAUTION: Meyer Sound recommends
that an Ethernet-based RMS network be
deployed as a closed, separate network to reduce
network problems from outside network traffic.
