• Close the drive tray of the drive you would like to be drive number
“1”. It can be any one of the drives. You will then see the following
screen:
• Close the remaining drives in order from top to bottom.
• If you clicked “Stop/No” to “Set Drive Order”, you will be
prompted to “Change Network Settings”. Clicking “Start/Yes” will
allow you to set-up the network client feature. Please see Setting
Up Network Client section (p. 36) for further details. Clicking
“Stop/No” will bring you back to the “Select Copy or Compare”
screen.
• Click the “8” key with your mouse. The screen will now read (CD
version shown):
The factory setting for this function is “40x” for CD and “8x” for
DVD. When selected, the Select Recording Speed feature allows
you to set the copying speed as determined by the capabilities of the
recorders installed in the 5500.
• After clicking any of those keys, the screen will now read:
• Click the “9” key with your mouse. Something similar to the
following will be displayed in sequence:
This displays the status of the last disc copied or compared in each
of the 5500’s recorders. If the last operation performed was
successful, the screen will report “OK”. If problems were
encountered, an error message will be displayed.
