Drive Not Present
• Make sure that the particular recorder is
properly plugged in the CD-5916.
Fatal HD Error
• The hard drive is corrupt or faulty.
FC Error
• Try loading new blank discs or exchange the
recorder.
Image Not Found
• Reload the image to the hard disk drive.
Medium Error
• Make sure that the master disc is not
scratched or dirty.
• Make sure that all of the recorders are loaded
with the same brand of blank discs.
• Could also indicate inferior quality blank
discs.
Medium Not Blank
• Try loading new blank discs.
• Could also indicate inferior quality blank
discs.
Not a Firmware Disc
• Make sure that the firmware disc was created
properly.
• Make sure the firmware disc is placed in the
top recorder when trying to install.
OPC Error
• Make sure the blank discs are not scratched
or dirty.
• Could also indicate inferior quality blank
discs.
Read Fail
• Make sure that the master disc is not
scratched or dirty and that it can be read in a
computer CD-ROM drive or played in a CD
audio player.
