CD Media & Strobe Setting examples
Recommended CD media, ribbon type and strobe setting
A Silver CD discs
(also called lacquer finish disc)
Recommendations:
• Use with black ribbon
• Strobe setting: 15
B White Coated CD discs
(with smooth surface)
Recommendations:
• Use with black ribbon
• Strobe setting: 15
• Use with color ribbon
• Strobe setting: 15
C White Coated CD discs
(with rough surface for use with
inkjet type CD printer)
Recommendations:
• Not recommended
, light poor
quality output will result
• Disc's rough surface does not
accept label ink properly
