If FROSTMED is not working correctly, please carry out the following necessary checks before
contacting your local FROSTMED Customer Service Representative.
No power to the FROSTMED
Check that the rechargeable battery pack in FROSTMED is fully or partially charged.
The temperature in the cooler is too high Ensure that the thermostat is turned to the correct
temperature setting relevant to ambient/outside the cooler temperature conditions.
Excessive frost, ice build-up
Check the ambient/outside temperature level. If the ambient/outside temperature is higher
than the set point temperature of the app then ice may build up. Ensure that the
ambient/outside temperature is not below 10°F/-12°C.
Normal Operating Sounds
Anytime the valve opens up, there is a short hiss sound for about 5 seconds. This is considered
normal. If the hissing sound lasts more than 10-15 seconds, refer to ‘Noise’.
Noise
Was the noise related to the opening of the cooler lid?
If so, open the container lid for a few minutes to allow the air pressure to equalize.
Ensure the container lid has not been left open.
Check that nothing is preventing the container lid from closing.
Refer to ‘Normal Operating Sounds.’
