I NSERTING M EMORY C ARD
1. Turn back your phone.
2. Remove the back cover and battery.
3. Insert memory card in the card slot as shown.
Note: Use only compatible memory cards approved by Micromax with this device.
C HARGING THE B ATTERY
Before using the device for the first time, you must charge the battery. You can charge the
device with a travel adapter or connecting the device to a PC with a USB cable.
Note: We suggest you charge the battery for 4 hours continuously for the first time.
H OME S CREEN
When you start up, the home screen opens. You can personalize your home screen with
shortcuts that appear in the bottom pane of the home screen and widgets that appear on
swiping left on the home screen.
 Swipe left to view the widgets available on your X458. By default, the screen will display
all available widgets. You may manage the displayed widgets from Menu → Settings
→ Phone settings → Widget manager.
 There are three shortcut icons available in the bottom pane of the home screen. The
following table describes the default shortcuts available on the home screen:
Opens the dial pad for you to make calls instantly.
Opens the Messages section.
Connects you to M!Live (online).
Opens the Menu for you to view all inbuilt section and applications.

The three buttons of your X458 offer the following functions and shortcuts.

Back: Opens the previous screen you were working on. If the onscreen
