Menu functions
Radio (Menu 6)
To listen to the FM radio on your phone, connect
the Stereo Headset (HDS-3) or Headset Kit (HDB-4)
to the connector on the bottom of the phone. The
leads of the headset function as the antenna, so let
it hang freely.
Note: Your phone must be switched on to use this function. Do
not
switch the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited or
when it may cause interference or danger.
• TURN THE RADIO ON AND OFF
• At the Start screen, press Menu 6 (Radio).
• To quickly turn off the radio, press and hold
i.
• USE THE RADIO
Note: When you place or receive a call, the radio automatically
mutes. Once the call is ended, the radio automatically switches
back on.
1 With the radio on, press Options to choose from the options listed in
the following table:
Option Function
Turn off Turn off the radio.
Save channel Save the current station to one of 20 locations.
Automatic
tuning
Briefly press either scroll key to start the channel
search up or down. Press OK when a channel is found.
Manual tuning Press d or g to search in increments of 0.1 MHz.
Set frequency Manually enter the frequency of a known radio station.
