Manage phone security
5 Enter a name for the number and press OK. A confirmation note
appears in the display and you are returned to the fixed dialing
number list.
6 Press Back, scroll to On, and press Select to activate fixed dialing.
View or edit the fixed dialing list
1 At the Start screen, press Menu 4-8-3 (Settings > Security Settings >
Fixed dialing).
2 Scroll to Number list and press Select. You are prompted to enter the
PIN2 code.
3 Enter the PIN2 code and press OK. Any numbers which you have
assigned to fixed dialing appear in the display.
4 Scroll to a number and press Options. The options in the following
table appear in the display:
• Use the scroll keys to highlight an option.
• Press Select to activate or enter the submenu of an option.
Notes about fixed dialing
• If a SIM card with fixed dialing that is activated is inserted into a
phone that does not support fixed dialing, the SIM card is rejected.
• If you try to add a name (without a number) to the fixed dialing list,
you will receive an error message.
View number View the number for an entry.
Add Add a number to your fixed dialing list.
Edit Edit the highlighted entry.
Delete Delete the highlighted entry.
Delete all Delete all entries in your fixed dialing list.
