Term Definition

antenna The portion of your phone designed to transmit and

receive the wireless signal

antenna jack The connector used to attach an external antenna to

your mobile phone (typically used by the Handsfree kit)

battery The source of power for your phone when its not

connected to the charger

bookmark An Internet site or address (URL) saved to your

phone’s memory

browser An application used to access Internet sites or

information on a network (such as the World

Wide Web)

data call A call that is placed or received where your phone

functions as a data/fax modem, connected to your

PC via the DLR-3P cable or Infrared (IR) port

delivery report A message from your messaging service regarding the

delivery status of a message that you have sent

audio speaker
