5. USING MENU FACILITY
The phone offers you a set of functions arranged
in menus accessible through the menu facility.
Each menu allows you to review and alter the set-
tings of a specific menu function.
The menu functions can be accessed by scrolling
through the menu facility (Menu Method) or by us-
ing the Shortcut Method.
Menu Method

Press to enter the menu facility, and use
to scroll through the list of functions until
you find the one you want. Press to scroll
forward and to scroll backward.

Press to access the desired menu option.

Use to scroll through the options of the
function. The current setting is always
displayed first.

Press to select the displayed option, or use
to exit the menu facility without changing
the settings.
Shortcut Method
The menu functions are numbered, and the functions
1 to 9 can be accessed via their shortcut number.
Note:
Menu functions 10 to 13 cannot be accessed
by this shortcut method.

Press , and enter the number of the
menu function you want to access. (See List of
Menu Functions on page 26.)

Use to scroll through the settings of the
function. The current setting is always dis-
played first.

Press to select the displayed setting, or use
to exit the menu facility without changing
the settings.
