To select the roaming mode:

Press and scroll to the menu function
SYSTEM SELECT by using and press
, or press as a shortcut access
method.
The phone displays its current roaming mode.

Scroll through the following four roaming op-
tions by using :
HOME The phone uses only its home
TYPE B* system(B).
NON-HOME The phone uses only the non-home
TYPE A* type system (A).
HOME AREA The phone uses only its home area
and home system.
BOTH The phone uses both systems (A and
SYSTEMS B). The phone uses its home system
when possible and the non-home type
system when service is not available
in its home system.
* When selected NAM is programmed to the system
B cellular provider.

Press to select the displayed setting, or
press to exit the menu facility.
Note:
The home type depends on the program-
ming of the currently selected NAM. The ’A’ and
’B’ are reversed when the phone is programmed
to the A system cellular provider. The phone will
automatically display the selected system type (A
or B) in the upper left corner of the display.
Call Timers (Menu 3)
This menu function allows you to check the approxi-
mate duration of the calls you have made and to
reset the call duration timers.
