Scroll through the options by using
(LIGHTS ON, LIGHTS OFF) and confirm your
choice by pressing .
When set to LIGHTS ON:

and the phone is used as a handportable phone
or connected to a charger, the lights go off 15
seconds after you have pressed a key or an in-
coming call alert has been received.

kit, the lights remain on continuously.
When set to LIGHTS OFF:

Keypad Tones (Menu 5)
A short tone is sounded each time you press a key
of your phone. This menu function allows you to
set the keypad tones on or off.

KEYPAD TONES by using and press ,
or press as a shortcut access
method.

Scroll through the options (KEYTONES ON or
KEYTONES OFF) by using and confirm
your choice by pressing .
Note:
DTMF tones can be sent even when the
keypad tones are switched off.
Note:
Keypad tones are also set off when the
option SILENT SERVICE is activated under the
menu function Ringing Volume.
