Emergency Key 9 (Menu 8)
This menu function allows you to set the
key one-touch emergency dialing on or off. The de-
fault setting for the feature is EMERG. 9 OFF.
EMERG. 9 ON Enables one-touch emergency
dialing to the emergency number
programmed into your phone by
pressing and holding the key.
EMERG. 9 OFF Disables one-touch emergency
dialing for the key.

To set the Emergency Key 9 on or off:

Press and scroll to the menu function
EMERGENCY KEY 9 by using and
press , or press as a shortcut
access method.

Scroll through the options (EMERG. 9 ON or
EMERG. 9 OFF) by using and confirm
your choice by pressing
.
Note:
The one-touch emergency dialing operates
when calls are restricted, but does not operate
when the Keyguard is activated.
1 Touch Dialing (Menu 9)
This menu function allows you to set the key
one-touch dialing on or off.
1 TOUCH ON Enables one-touch dialing to the
number stored in the phone directory
location 1 by pressing and holding
the key.
1 TOUCH OFF Disables one-touch dialing for
the key.
