• MAKING A CALL
1 In standby mode, key in the phone number,
including the area code. Press or to
move the cursor. Press to remove a number.
• For international calls, press twice for the
international prefix (the + character replaces
the international access code) and then key in
the country code, the area code without 0, and
the phone number.
2 Press to call the number.
3 Press to end the call (or to cancel the
call attempt).
Pressing will always end a call, even if another application is active and displayed.
You can make a call using your voice so that you do not need to look at the display
to key in the number. See “Voice dialing” on page 23.
Making a call using the Contacts directory
1 To open the Contacts directory, press in standby mode, or go to
Menu→ Contacts.
2 To find a contact, scroll to the desired name, or key in the first letters of the
name. The Search field opens automatically and matching contacts are listed.
3 Press to start the call.
If the contact has more than one phone number, scroll to the number and
press to start the call.
Calling your voice mailbox
The voice mailbox (network service) is an answering service where callers who are
unable to reach you can leave you voice messages.
• To call your voice mailbox, press and in standby mode.
