Mute or Unmute, End call, End all calls, Contacts, Menu, Hold or Unhold,
New call (network service), Conference (network service), Private
(network service), Answer, Decline, Swap (network service), Send touch
tone, Loudspeaker or Handset, Lock keypad, Transfer (network service),
Headset, Handsfree, and Record.
Select
• Touch tones to send touch tone strings, for example, a password. Key
in the touch tone string, or search for it in contacts. You can key in a
wait character (w) or a pause character (p) by repeatedly pressing
.
• Transfer to connect the held call to the active call and to disconnect
yourself from the call.
• Headset or Handsfree to switch the active call to the respective
compatible accessory when the accessory is connected to the phone.
• USING THE LOUDSPEAKER
The phone has a loudspeaker that allows you to use the phone hands-free
during a call.
Warning:Do not hold the loudspeaker near your ear when the
loudspeaker is in use because the volume may be extremely loud.
• To activate the loudspeaker during a call, press Options and select
Loudspeaker, or press Loudsp. if available.
• To deactivate the loudspeaker, press Options and select Handset, or
press Normal if available.
If a compatible device, such as the HDB-4 headset, is connected to
the phone, the Handset option is replaced with Handsfree or Headset,
and the selection key Normal changes to Handsfr. or Headset,
respectively.
The loudspeaker is automatically deactivated when you end the call
or connect an enhancement, such as a headset, to the phone.
