Your device supports several methods of connectivity. Like computers, your device may be exposed to viruses and other harmful content. Exercise caution with messages, connectivity requests, browsing, and downloads. Only install and use services and other software from trustworthy sources that offer adequate security and protection against harmful software, such as applications that are Symbian Signed or have passed the Java Verified™ testing.
Your device may also have customized items such as menu names, menu order, and icons. ■ Shared memory The following features in this device may share memory: tones, graphics, contacts, text messages, multimedia, and instant messages, e-mail, calendar, To-Do Notes, JavaTM games, applications, and the Notes application. Use of one or more of these features may reduce the memory available for the remaining features.

Important: Use only services that you trust and that offer adequate security and protection against harmful software. ■ Assisted Global Positioning System Your phone may have Assisted Global Positioning System (A-GPS), a positioning system that uses an assistance server and reference network to make measurements and determine location. A-GPS is dependent on your network service. Contact your provider for additional information.
1. Get started ■ Insert SIM card and battery Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery. This device is intended for use with the BP-6MT battery. Always use original Nokia batteries. See “Nokia battery authentication guidelines” on page 59. The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or bending, so be careful when handling, inserting, or removing the card. To remove the back cover of the phone, follow these steps. 1.
Insert the SIM card properly into the holder. The goldcolored contacts facing down. Replace the battery. To replace the back cover, follow these steps. 1. Align the tabs on the cover to the slots on the back of the phone. 2. Slide the button to lock the cover into place.
■ Insert a microSD card Use only compatible microSD cards with this device. Other memory cards, such as reduced size MultiMedia cards, do not fit in the microSD card slot and are not compatible with this device. Using an incompatible memory card may damage the memory card as well as the device, and data stored on the incompatible card may be corrupted. Use only microSD cards approved by Nokia for use with this device.
1. Connect a USB data cable with a micro USB connector to the USB port of a computer and to your device. 2. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the USB cable. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take a few minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be made. The charging time depends on the charger used. Note: The phone must only be connected to products that bear the USBIF logo or have completed the USB-IF compliance program.

Switch the phone on and off Warning: Do not switch the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger. To switch the phone on or off, press and hold the power key. If the phone asks for a PIN or a UPIN code, enter the code (displayed as ****), and select OK. Set the time, time zone, and date Enter the local time, select the time zone of your location in terms of the time difference with respect to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and enter the date.
Your phone is connected to the instant messaging service, and the availability status is online or offline. , You received one or several instant messages. The keypad is locked. The phone does not ring for an incoming call or text message. The alarm clock is activated. The countdown timer is running. The stopwatch is running. The phone is registered with the GPRS or EGPRS network. A GPRS or EGPRS connection is established. The GPRS or EGPRS connection is suspended (on hold).
■ Keypad lock (keyguard) Select Menu or Unlock, and press * within 1.5 seconds to lock or unlock the keypad. To set the automatic keyguard, select Menu > Settings > Phone settings > Automatic keyguard. To answer a call when the keyguard is on, press the call key or open the phone. When you end or reject the call, the keypad automatically locks. Security keyguard The security keyguard requires a 5-10 digit code to protect against unauthorized use.
Without a SIM card, some functions appear dimmed in the menus and cannot be used. For an emergency call, some networks may require that a valid SIM card is properly inserted in the device. 3. Call functions ■ Make a voice call 1. Enter the phone number, including the area code. For international calls, press * twice for the international prefix (the + character replaces the international access code), enter the country code, the area code without the leading 0, if necessary, and the phone number. 2.
1. In the standby mode, press and hold the right selection key or press and hold the volume down key. A short tone is played, and Speak after the tone is displayed. 2. Say the voice command clearly. If the voice recognition was successful, a list with proposed matches is displayed. The phone plays the voice command of the match on the top of the list. If the result is not the correct one, scroll to another entry. Using voice commands to carry out a selected phone function is similar to voice dialing.
4. Navigate the menus The phone offers many functions and options, which are grouped into menus. 1. To access the main menu, select Menu. To change the menu view, select Options > Main menu view and the desired option. To rearrange the menu, scroll to the menu you want to move, and select Options > Organize > Move. Scroll to where you want to move the menu, and select OK. To save the change, select Done > Yes. 2. Scroll through the menu, and select an option (for example, Settings). 3.

To set the language while entering text, select Options > Writing Language. ■ Predictive text input To set predictive text input while entering a message, select Options > Prediction options > Status > On. 1. Start entering a word using the 2-9 keys. Press each key once for each letter. The entered letters are displayed underlined. To insert a special character, press and hold *, or select Options > Insert symbol.

For more details about messaging services, check with AT&T. ■ Text and multimedia messages You can create a message and optionally attach, for example, a picture. Your phone automatically changes a text message to a multimedia message when a file is attached. ■ Text messages Your device supports sending text messages beyond the character limit for a single message. Longer messages are sent as a series of two or more messages.
3. Scroll to the Text: field, and enter the message text. 4. To attach content to the message, scroll to the attachment bar at the bottom of the display and select the desired type of content. 5. To send the message, press Send. The message type is indicated at the top of the display and changes automatically depending on the content of the message. AT&T may charge differently depending on the message type. Check with AT&T for details.
■ SIM messages SIM messages are text messages that are saved to your SIM card. You can copy or move those messages to the phone memory, but not vice versa. Received messages are saved to the phone memory. To read SIM messages, select Menu > Messaging > Options > SIM Card messages. ■ Instant messaging Instant messaging (IM) is a way to send text messages to friends and family, regardless of the mobile system or platform they use (like the internet), as long as they all use the same IM service.
Icons and menu items Each IM service provider has its own unique interface, so the IM menu items, display text, and icons on your phone may be different for each IM service. If you have questions about the differences in the various IM service providers’ text and icons, contact AT&T for more information. IM menus When you select IM from your phone menu, a list of available IM services is displayed.
If you receive an instant message when you are logged in to the IM service, but do not have the IM application open on your phone, a message is displayed telling you that a new IM message has been received. Select Start to open the IM application, and view the new message. Return to chat session From the IM online menu, select Conversations. This list displays all IM conversations and group chats in which you are currently participating.
■ E-mail The actual terms and words seen when sending, replying, forwarding, or saving email may be dependent on your e-mail service provider. Important: Exercise caution when opening messages. E-mail messages may contain malicious software or otherwise be harmful to your device or PC. E-mail provides access to certain common e-mail services. If you have an e-mail account with one of the supported e-mail services, you can use this application to access your e-mail account.
Stop at the desired folder and the first page of that folder loads automatically. When folder content is loaded, it is not updated again until you select Options > Refresh folder. To view an e-mail, select the e-mail. When you highlight a particular e-mail, you see an expanded view with more details about the e-mail. Create and send 1. To start creating an e-mail from the inbox view, select Options > Compose New. 2. Enter the recipient’s e-mail address, a subject, and the e-mail message. 3. Select Send.
To call your voice mailbox, in the standby mode, press and hold 1, or select Menu > Messaging > Voice mail > Listen to voice mails. To enter, find, or edit your voice mailbox number, select Voice mailbox no. If supported by the network, indicates new voice messages. Select Listen to call your voice mailbox number. ■ Service commands Use the service commands editor to enter and send service requests (also known as USSD commands) to AT&T. For information about specific service commands, contact AT&T.
Multimedia — to allow delivery reports, to set up the appearance of multimedia messages, to allow the reception of multimedia messages and advertisements, and to set up other preferences related to multimedia. Service messages —to activate service messages and to set up preferences related to service messages. 8. YPmobile The YPmobile (Yellow Pages Mobile) website provides a directory of local and national businesses, search options, maps, and directions. In the standby mode, select Menu > YP mobile.
Browse with phone keys To browse through the page, scroll in any direction. To select an item, select Select. To enter letters and numbers, press the 0 -9 keys. To enter characters, press *. ■ Bookmarks You can save web addresses as bookmarks in the phone memory. 1. In the standby mode, select Menu > MEdia Net, or select the MEdia Net key to connect to the web. While browsing, select Options > Add bookmark. 1. Select Menu > MEdia Net > Options > Bookmarks to view a list of saved bookmarks. 2.
■ Security settings Cookies A cookie is data that a site saves in the cache memory of your phone. Cookies are saved until you clear the cache memory. See ”Cache memory” on page 33. While browsing, select Options > Settings > Security > Cookies, to allow or prevent the phone from receiving cookies. Scripts over secure connection You can select whether to allow the running of scripts from a secure page. The phone supports WML scripts.

My Stuff In this menu, you can manage images, recordings, and tones, which are files arranged in folders. This menu also includes multimedia and entertainment features available in the phone, and features that assist you in organizing daily tasks. Your phone supports an activation key system to protect acquired content.
■ Games & Apps In the standby mode, select Menu > My Stuff > Games & Apps to manage applications and games. These files are stored in the phone memory, or on an inserted microSD memory card and may be arranged in folders. To format or lock and unlock the memory card, see ”Memory card” on page 13. Play a game Your phone software includes games. Select Menu > My Stuff > Games & Apps > Games. Scroll to the desired game, and select Open. Open an application Your phone software includes some Java applications.
Camera When taking and using images or video clips, obey all laws and respect local customs as well as privacy and legitimate rights of others, including copyrights. You can take photos or record video clips with the built-in 2 megapixel camera. The camera saves pictures in JPEG format and video clips in 3GPP format. The camera lens is on the back of the phone. Take a photo 1. Select Menu > My Stuff > Multimedia > Camera > Capture; or press the camera key, and select Capture.
Camera and video settings Select Menu > My Stuff > Multimedia > Camera or Video recorder > Options > Settings, and edit the available settings. Camera and video effects Select Menu > My Stuff > Multimedia > Camera or Video recorder > Options > Effects and the appropriate option.
Albums — to view albums Genres — to view songs by genres Videos — to view a list of music videos Settings To change settings, select Menu > My Stuff > Multimedia > Media player > Go to Media player > Options > Settings, and from the following: Shuffle — to play songs in random order Repeat — to repeat the current song, all songs, or to switch off repeat Equalizer — to open the list of media equalizer sets. See ”Equalizer” on page 39.
List of recordings 1. Select Menu > My Stuff > Multimedia > Voice recorder > Options > Audio list. 2. Select Audio to view a list of recordings. 3. Select Options to view a list of options for files. Define a storage folder To change the default folder, select Menu > My Stuff > Multimedia > Voice recorder > Options > Select memory, and a folder from the list. Equalizer The equalizer allows you to adjust the frequency bands. Select Menu > My Stuff > Multimedia > Equalizer.
PTT Service — to turn the service on or off. If you have added groups to the phone, you are automatically joined to the active groups. There may be a brief delay while PTT connects. Connection icons PTT is connected: your status is Available Service is disconnected Notices are pending Your status is Do Not Disturb Add contacts Add a one-to-one contact To add a contact to the PTT contacts list, select Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Push to Talk > Add contact.
Do not disturb; you cannot contact this person Invitation is in progress; you cannot contact this person Contact has PTT switched off or is unavailable; you cannot contact this person Make a one-to-one call To start a one-to-one call from the list of contacts, press and hold the PTT key; or select Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Push to Talk > PTT contacts. Scroll to a contact, and press and hold the PTT key while talking. Remember that you must release the PTT key to hear their response.
Change from PTT to mobile call You can convert a one-to-one or group PTT call to a normal call if you initiated the PTT call. Anytime during the PTT call, select Options > Convert to Cellular. The call recipients can then join your mobile call by pressing the PTT key. The call cannot be converted back to PTT. Call Me Alerts If a person is unavailable, you can send a request for the person to call you back.
To set the alarm, select Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Alarm clock > Alarm time, and enter the alarm time. To change the alarm time when the alarm time is set, select On. To set the phone to alert you on selected days of the week, select Repeat:. To set a snooze time-out, select Snooze time-out and the desired time. After making changes to the alarm settings, select Save.
Calendar The calendar helps you keep track of reminders, calls that you need to make, meetings, and birthdays. Select Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Calendar. The current day is indicated by a frame in the month view. If there are notes set for a day, the day is in bold. To view the day notes, select View. To view a week, select Options > Week view. To delete all notes in the calendar, select the month or week view and Options > Delete notes > Delete all notes.
3. Create the note, select the priority, set the deadline and the alarm type for the note, and select Save. 4. To view a note, scroll to it, and select View. Notes Select Notes to enter and send notes to compatible devices by using text messaging or MMS. 1. Select Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Notes. 2. To make a note if one is not added, select Add. 3. Create the note, and select Save. 4. To view a note, scroll to it, and select View.
Stopwatch Select Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Stopwatch to measure time, take intermediate times, or take lap times using the stopwatch. During timing, the other functions of the phone can be used. To set the stopwatch timing in the background, press the end key. Using the stopwatch or allowing it to run in the background when using other features increases the demand on battery power and reduces the battery life. 12.
To copy more than one contact, but not all contacts, select Menu > Addr. Book > Names > Options > Mark. Mark the contacts you want to move, and select Move marked or Copy marked. ■ Edit contact details 1. Find the contact you want to edit, select Details; and scroll to the desired name, number, text item, or image. 2. To edit a name, number, or text item, or to change image, select Options > Edit. You cannot edit an ID when it is on the IM contacts or subscribed names list.
Name display — to select whether the contact’s first or last name is displayed first Font size — to set the font size for the list of contacts Check memory — to view the free and used memory capacity ■ Groups To arrange the names and phone numbers saved in the memory into caller groups with a different ringing tone and a group image, select Menu > Addr. Book > Groups > Add. Choose a name, image, or ringing tone, and select Save. To add contacts to the group, select View > Add.
Customize — to customize the profile. Select the setting you want to change, and make the changes. Timed — to set the profile to be active until a specified time up to 24 hours, and set the end time. When the time set for the profile expires, the previous profile that was not timed becomes active. ■ Set theme A theme contains elements for personalizing your phone. Select Menu > Settings > Set theme and from the following: Select theme — to set a theme. A list of folders in tones and graphics opens.
Home screen font col. — to select the color for the text in the home screen mode Navigation key icons — to display the navigation key shortcuts in the home screen mode Notification details — to display contact information in missed calls and messages received.
Right selection key To select a function from the list, select Menu > Settings > My shortcuts > Right selection key. Navigation key To assign other phone functions from a predefined list to the navigation key (scroll key), select Menu > Settings > My shortcuts > Navigation key. Home screen key To select a navigation key to activate the active home screen mode, select Menu > Settings > My shortcuts > Home screen key. ■ Sync and backup Create a backup of your personal data.
There may be restrictions on using Bluetooth technology in some locations. Check with your local authorities or AT&T. Features using Bluetooth technology or allowing such features to run in the background while using other features, increase the demand on battery power and reduce the battery life. Bluetooth technology allows you to connect the phone to a compatible Bluetooth device within 10 meters (32 feet).
Bluetooth settings To define how your phone is shown to other Bluetooth devices, select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth > My phone's visibility or My phone's name. If you are concerned about security, turn off the Bluetooth function, or select My phone's visibility > Hidden. Always make sure you get agreement with the owner of a device before you make or allow connections.
Automatic redial — to make a maximum of 10 attempts to connect the call after an unsuccessful call attempt Speed dialing — to dial the names and phone numbers assigned to the speeddialing keys 2-9 by pressing and holding the corresponding number key Call waiting — to have the network notify you of an incoming call while you have a call in progress (network service). See ”Call waiting” on page 20.

Add new. Select the service type, and select and enter each of the required parameters. The parameters differ according to the selected service type. To delete or activate a personal account, scroll to it, and select Options > Delete or Activate. ■ Security When security features that restrict calls are in use (such as call restriction and fixed dialing) calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device.

PC connectivity You can send and receive e-mail, and access the internet when your phone is connected to a compatible PC through Bluetooth connectivity or a USB data cable connection. You can use your phone with a variety of PC connectivity and data communications applications.
The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out. When the talk and standby times are noticeably shorter than normal, replace the battery. Use only Nokia approved batteries, and recharge your battery only with Nokia approved chargers designated for this device. Use only replacement batteries qualified with the device per the IEEE-1725-2006 standard. Use of other batteries or chargers may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage, or other hazard.
■ Nokia battery authentication guidelines Always use original Nokia batteries for your safety. To help ensure that you are getting an original Nokia battery, purchase it from a Nokia authorized service centre or dealer, and inspect the hologram label using the following steps: Authenticate hologram 1. When looking at the hologram on the label, you should see the Nokia connecting hands symbol from one angle and the Nokia Original Enhancements logo when looking from another angle. 2.
• Do not drop, knock, or shake the device. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards and fine mechanics. • Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the device. Only use a soft, clean, dry cloth to clean the surface of the device. • Do not paint the device. Paint can clog the moving parts and prevent proper operation. • Use only the supplied or an approved replacement antenna.
■ Medical devices Operation of any radio transmitting equipment, including wireless phones, may interfere with the functionality of inadequately protected medical devices. Consult a physician or the manufacturer of the medical device to determine if they are adequately shielded from external RF energy or if you have any questions. Switch off your device in health care facilities when any regulations posted in these areas instruct you to do so.

El teléfono registró una llamada perdida. El teléfono está conectado al servicio de mensajería instantánea, y el estado de disponibilidad es conectado o desconectado. , Recibió uno o varios mensajes instantáneos. El teclado está bloqueado. El teléfono no suena para una llamada entrante o un mensaje de texto. La alarma está activada. El temporizador está activo. El cronómetro está activo. El teléfono está registrado en la red GPRS o EGPRS. Se estableció una conexión GPRS o EGPRS.
■ Bloqueo del teclado (bloqueo de teclas) Seleccione Menú o Desbloq., y pulse la tecla * antes de 1,5 segundos para bloquear o desbloquear el teclado. Para configurar el bloqueo automático de teclas, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Teléfono > Bloqueo automático. Para contestar una llamada cuando el bloqueo de teclas está activado, pulse la tecla Llamar o abra el teléfono. Cuando finaliza o rechaza la llamada, el teclado se bloquea de manera automática.
■ Funciones sin una tarjeta SIM Varias funciones del teléfono pueden usarse sin insertar una tarjeta SIM (por ejemplo, la transferencia de datos con una PC compatible u otro dispositivo compatible). Sin la tarjeta SIM, algunas funciones aparecen oscurecidas en los menús y no se pueden utilizar. ■ Opciones durante una llamada Muchas de las opciones que puede usar durante una llamada son servicios de red. Comuníquese con AT&T para conocer la disponibilidad. Durante una llamada, seleccione Opciones y alguna de las siguientes opciones: Las opciones de llamada son Silenciar micrófono o Activar micrófono, Contactos, Menú, Bloquear Teclado, Grabar, Altavoz o Auricular. Las opciones de red son Contestar o Rechazar, Retener o Atender, Contactos PTT, Llamada Nueva, Agr.
5. Música AT&T Este menú ofrece acceso al reproductor de medios, distintas herramientas relacionadas con la música, aplicaciones y servicios. Para abrir el reproductor de medios desde el modo en espera, seleccione Menú > Música ATT > Reproductor medios, o pulse la tecla de Medios. Consulte ”Reproductor de medios”, pág. 40 para obtener más información acerca del uso del reproductor de medios. 6.

■ Mensajes de texto Su dispositivo puede enviar mensajes de texto que excedan el límite de caracteres para un único mensaje. Los mensajes más largos se envían como una serie de dos o más mensajes. Es posible que AT&T le cobre los cargos correspondientes. Los caracteres que usan tilde u otros signos, y los caracteres de algunas opciones de idioma, como español, ocupan más espacio, lo que limita el número de caracteres que se pueden enviar en un solo mensaje.
El tipo de mensaje se indica en la parte superior de la pantalla y cambia de manera automática dependiendo del contenido del mensaje. AT&T puede cobrar de maneras diferentes según el tipo de mensaje. Antes de usar MI, debe suscribirse al servicio.
Iconos y elementos de menú Cada proveedor de servicios de MI tiene su propia interfaz única, por lo tanto los elementos del menú de MI, el texto en pantalla y los iconos del teléfono pueden ser distintos para cada servicio de MI. Si tiene preguntas acerca de las diferencias en los distintos texto e iconos de los proveedores de servicio de MI, comuníquese con AT&T para obtener más información. Menús de MI Cuando seleccione MI desde el menú del teléfono, aparece una lista de servicios de MI disponibles.
Si recibe un mensaje instantáneo cuando tiene la aplicación de MI abierta, pero no tiene un chat activo abierto, aparece un mensaje que muestra que tiene un nuevo mensaje instantáneo con el nombre del remitente. Seleccione Abrir para abrir la ventana de conversación que contiene el nuevo mensaje de ese contacto. Para responder, seleccione Escribir, ingrese un mensaje y seleccione OK.

Alertas de e-mail Para activar o desactivar alertas de e-mail desde la vista del buzón de entrada, seleccione Opciones > Alertas de e-mail. Si las alertas de e-mail están activadas, recibirá notificaciones de nuevos e-mail. Esta configuración sólo se aplica a la cuenta de e-mail actual, y no afecta las configuraciones de notificación de otras cuentas de e-mail. ■ Mensajes de voz Si se suscribe a mensajes de voz (servicio de red), AT&T proporciona un número de buzón de voz para acceder a los mensajes.
Para eliminar todos los mensajes de una carpeta, seleccione Menú > Mensajería > Elim. mensajes > Por carpeta y la carpeta desde donde desea eliminar los mensajes. Dependiendo de la carpeta, el teléfono pregunta si desea eliminar los mensajes. Para eliminar, seleccione Sí. De lo contrario, si la carpeta contiene mensajes no leídos o mensajes que esperan ser enviados, el teléfono pregunta si desea conservarlos. Para conservar estos mensajes, seleccione Sí.
9. Web Puede acceder a varios servicios de Internet móvil con el explorador de su teléfono. Importante: Use solamente servicios confiables y que ofrecen niveles adecuados de seguridad y protección contra software perjudicial. Para obtener información sobre la disponibilidad de estos servicios, los precios y las instrucciones, comuníquese con AT&T.
3. Seleccione un favorito. 4. Seleccione Opciones para ver, editar, eliminar o enviar el favorito; para crear un nuevo favorito o para guardar el favorito en una carpeta. Es posible que personas o entidades no afiliadas ni asociadas a Nokia hayan creado las aplicaciones de terceros proporcionadas con su dispositivo y que sean las propietarias de ellas. Scripts sobre conexión segura Puede optar por ejecutar scripts desde una página segura. El teléfono admite los scripts WML. Durante la exploración, para permitir scripts, seleccione Opciones > Configuraciones > Seguridad > Script WML. ■ Memoria caché Una memoria caché es una parte de la memoria en la cual se almacenan datos en forma temporal. Si ha intentado acceder o ha accedido a información confidencial que exige contraseñas, vacíe la memoria caché después de cada uso.
11. Mis archivos En este menú, puede administrar imágenes, grabaciones y tonos, que son archivos ordenados en carpetas. Este menú también incluye funciones multimedia y de entretenimiento disponibles en el teléfono, y funciones que le ayudan a organizar las tareas diarias. Su teléfono admite un sistema de claves de activación para proteger el contenido adquirido.
Para formatear o bloquear y desbloquear la tarjeta de memoria, consulte ”Tarjeta de memoria”, pág. 14. Jugar El software del teléfono incluye juegos. Seleccione Menú > Mis archivos > Juegos y Aplics. > Juegos. Desplácese hasta el juego que desea y seleccione Abrir. Abra una aplicación El software del teléfono incluye algunas aplicaciones Java. Seleccione Menú > Mis archivos > Juegos y Aplics. > Colección. Desplácese hasta una aplicación y seleccione Abrir.
Cámara Cuando capture y use imágenes o videoclips, obedezca las leyes y respete las costumbres locales, la privacidad y los derechos legítimos de los demás, incluidos los derechos de propiedad intelectual. Puede tomar fotos o grabar videoclips con la cámara incorporada de 2 megapíxeles. La cámara guarda imágenes en formato JPEG y los videoclips en formato 3GPP. Agregar un grupo de contactos Puede guardar un grupo de contactos para poder llamarlos colectivamente. Para agregar un grupo de contactos PTT, seleccione Menú > Mis archivos > Herramientas > PTT > Agregar grupo y el nombre de grupo. Para agregar un contacto existente al grupo, seleccione De Contactos PTT, y marque los contactos que desea agregar al nuevo grupo. Para agregar manualmente un nuevo contacto al grupo, ingrese el nombre y el número de teléfono del nuevo contacto.
Realizar una llamada de grupo Para realizar una llamada a un grupo, seleccione Contactos PTT, desplácese hasta el grupo que desea y mantenga pulsada la tecla PTT mientras habla. Realizar una llamada PTT a varios destinatarios Para seleccionar varios contactos de PTT desde la lista de contactos, cree un Grupo rápido. Los destinatarios reciben una llamada entrante. Si el teléfono del destinatario está configurado en el perfil Silencio o Vibración, deben aceptar la llamada para participar. 1.
Enviar una Alerta Llámame Para enviar una Alerta Llámame desde la lista de contactos en el menú PTT, seleccione Contactos PTT. Desplácese hasta un contacto y seleccione Opciones > Alerta Llámame. Responder una Alerta Llámame Cuando alguien le envía una Alerta Llámame, Llame a aparece con el nombre de la persona que llama en el modo en espera. Para llamar al remitente, mantenga pulsada la tecla PTT. Mensajes de voz Puede enviar un mensaje de voz a uno de los contactos o grupos PTT.
Tono de alerta y mensaje El teléfono emite un tono de alerta y destella el texto ¡Alarma! y la hora actual en la pantalla, incluso si el teléfono está apagado. Para detener la alarma, seleccione Parar. Si deja que el teléfono continúe emitiendo la alarma por un minuto o selecciona Pausa, la alarma se detiene durante el tiempo de pausa seleccionado y luego vuelve a sonar. Si el teléfono está apagado para la hora que se configuró la alarma, el dispositivo se enciende y comienza a sonar la alarma.
El día actual se indica con un cuadro en la vista mensual. Si hay notas configuradas para el día, el día aparece en negrita. Para ver las notas del día, seleccione Ver. Para ver una semana, seleccione Opciones > Vista semana. Para eliminar todas las notas en la agenda, seleccione la vista de mes o semana y Opciones > Eliminar notas > Todas las notas.

Cronómetro Seleccione Menú > Mis archivos > Herramientas > Cronómetro para medir tiempo, medir tiempos intermedios o medir tiempos de vuelta usando el cronómetro. Durante la medición, puede seguir usando las otras funciones del teléfono. Para programar el cronómetro para que funcione en segundo plano, pulse la tecla Finalizar. Al usar el cronómetro o dejarlo activo en segundo plano cuando usa otras funciones, aumenta la demanda de energía de la batería y reduce su vida útil. 12.
■ Copiar contactos Para copiar un nombre y un número de teléfono desde la memoria del teléfono a la memoria de la tarjeta SIM, o viceversa, seleccione Menú > Contactos > Copiar Contactos > Del teléfono a tarj. SIM o De tarj. SIM al teléfono. Para mover todos los contactos desde la tarjeta SIM a la memoria del teléfono, o viceversa, seleccione Menú > Contactos > Mover contactos > Del teléfono a tarj. Mis números: para ver los números de teléfono asignados a la tarjeta SIM. Esto sólo aparece si los números están incluidos en la tarjeta SIM. 13.
Seleccione Opciones > Guardar para guardar las configuraciones o Cancelar para no modificar las configuraciones. Si selecciona el nivel más alto del tono de timbre, éste llega hasta su máximo nivel después de unos segundos. ■ Luces Para activar o cambiar el color de los efectos de luz de la parte frontal del teléfono, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Luces. ■ Pantalla de cubierta oculta La pantalla oculta de la cubierta aparece cuando hay información para mostrar en la pantalla externa.
Cuando viaje a una zona horaria distinta, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Fecha y hora > Config. fecha y hora > Zona horaria y la zona horaria de su ubicación en términos de la diferencia de hora con respecto a la hora del Meridiano de Greenwich (GMT) o la hora Coordinada universal (UTC). La hora y fecha son configuradas según la zona horaria y permiten que su teléfono muestre la hora de envío correcta de los mensajes de texto o multimedia recibidos.
■ Sincronización y copias de seguridad Cree una copia de seguridad de sus datos personales. Seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Sinc. y copia seg., y alguna de las siguientes opciones: Transf. teléfono: para sincronizar o copiar datos entre dos teléfonos que usan tecnología Bluetooth. Crear copia seg.: para crear una copia de seguridad de los datos seleccionados. Rest. copia seg.: para almacenar un archivo de copia de seguridad seleccionado en el teléfono. Transferen.
Configurar una conexión Bluetooth Seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Conectividad > Bluetooth y alguna de las siguientes opciones: Bluetooth: para activar o desactivar la función Bluetooth. indica que Bluetooth está activado. Cuando activa la tecnología Bluetooth por primera vez, se le pide asignar un nombre al teléfono. Use un nombre único que sea fácil de identificar para otros dispositivos. Conex. acces. audio: para buscar dispositivos de audio Bluetooth compatibles.
Paquetes de datos El servicio general de radio por paquetes (GPRS) o 3G, es un servicio de red que permite que los teléfonos móviles envíen y reciban datos sobre una red basada en el protocolo de Internet (IP). Para definir cómo usar el servicio, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Conectividad > Paquete de datos > Conexión paq. datos y alguna de las siguientes opciones: Cuando necesario: para definir la conexión de paquete de datos que se debe establecer cuando una aplicación la necesita.
Remarcado auto.: para que su teléfono intente conectar la llamada hasta un máximo de 10 veces después de intentarlo sin éxito. Marcación rápida: para marcar los nombres y números de teléfono asignados a las teclas de marcación rápida, de 2 a 9, manteniendo pulsada la tecla numérica correspondiente. Llamada en espera: para que la red le notifique una llamada entrante mientras tiene una llamada en curso (servicio de red). Consulte ”Llamada en espera”, pág. 21.
Reconocimiento voz: para configurar los comandos de voz en el teléfono. Puede seleccionar qué funciones desea activar con su voz. Entrenamiento voz permite que el software del teléfono reconozca las variaciones de su voz. Preg. modo descon.: el teléfono pregunta si desea usar el perfil Desconectado cada vez que encienda el teléfono. Con el perfil Desconectado todas las conexiones de radio se desactivan. Nivel de seguridad: para que el teléfono pide el código de seguridad cada vez que se inserte una nueva tarjeta SIM en el teléfono, seleccione Teléfono. Si selecciona Memoria, el teléfono pida el código de seguridad cuando la memoria de la tarjeta SIM está seleccionada, y desee cambiar la memoria en uso. Conectividad de PC Puede enviar y recibir e-mail, y acceder a Internet cuando el teléfono esté conectado a una PC compatible a través de conectividad Bluetooth o una conexión de cable de datos USB.
