SkyDrive
With SkyDrive, you'll never be without the documents, photos, and videos that matter to you. Your
Microsoft account includes cloud storage that’s accessible from any of your devicesyour computer,
tablet, and phone.
To see what’s on your SkyDrive, go to Start and tap or click SkyDrive.
All of the files that you’ve saved on SkyDrive appear (you can also open files saved on Surface or your network).
Tap or click a folder name to see the contents. Tap or click a file to open it. Office files open in Office apps and
music files open in Xbox Music.
Swipe down from the top edge of the screen to see commands.
Included with your Surface 2 purchase: 200GB of free SkyDrive storage, for two years. To activate your free
SkyDrive storage, just use the code included in your Surface 2 packaging. Offer details.

Tips
Pictures that you take with the Camera app are saved to SkyDrive by default. See the Camera topic for
more info about this.
Need help with SkyDrive? From the SkyDrive app, open the Settings charm and then tap or click Help.
Get to your files from anywhere
When your files are on SkyDrive, you can get to them from any device. You can go to SkyDrive.com or one of the
SkyDrive mobile apps.
