ThisClassBdigitalapparatuscomplieswith,asapplicable,
Part15oftheFCCRules.Operationissubjecttothe
followingtwoconditions:(1)thisdevicemaynot
causeinterference,and(2)thisdevicemustacceptany
interferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmay
causeundesiredoperation.

hasbeeninstalledbythemanufacturerandnochanges
canbemade.Thewirelessdevicesmustnotbeco-located
oroperatinginconjunctionwithanyotherantennaor
transmitter.Exceptforheadsetandhandhelddevices,
wirelessdevicesmustbeatleast20cmbetweenthe
antennaofthewirelessdeviceandallpersons.
Thisproductisrestrictedtoindooruseonlytoreduceany
potentialforharmfulinterferencewithlicensedoperation
inthe5.15to5.25GHzfrequencyrange.

TheMicrosofthardwaredevice(s)canradiateradio
frequency(RF)energy.Ifnotinstalledandusedinstrict
accordancewiththeinstructionsgivenintheprinted
documentationand/oronscreenHelples,thedevice
maycauseharmfulinterferencewithotherradio-
communicationsdevices(forexampleAM/FMradios,
televisions,babymonitors,cordlessphones,etc.).However,
thereisnoguaranteethatRFinterferencewillnotoccurin
aparticularinstallation.
Todeterminewhetheryourhardwaredeviceiscausing
interferencetootherradio-communicationsdevices,
disconnectthedevicefromyourcomputerorremove
thedevice’sbatteries(forabattery-operateddevice).
Iftheinterferencestops,itwasprobablycausedbythe
device.Iftheinterferencecontinuesafteryoudisconnect
thehardwaredeviceorremovethebatteries,turnthe
computeroffandthenonagain.Iftheinterference
stoppedwhenthecomputerwasoff,checkwhetherone
oftheinput/output(I/O)devicesoroneofthecomputer’s
internalaccessoryboardsiscausingtheproblem.
DisconnecttheI/Odevicesoneatatimeandseewhether
theinterferencestops.
Ifthishardwaredevicedoescauseinterference,trythe
followingmeasurestocorrectit:
• Relocatetheantennaoftheotherradio-
communicationsdevice(forexampleAM/FMradios,
televisions,babymonitors,cordlessphones,etc.)until
theinterferencestops.
• Movethehardwaredevicefartherawayfromtheradio
orTV,ormoveittoonesideortheotheroftheradio
orTV.
• Plugthecomputerintoadifferentpoweroutletsothat
thehardwaredeviceandradioorTVareondifferent
circuitscontrolledbydifferentcircuitbreakersorfuses.
• Ifnecessary,askyourcomputerdealeroran
experiencedradio-TVtechnicianformoresuggestions.

Thissymbolontheproductoritsbatteriesorits
packagingmeansthatthisproductandanybatteries
