Contacts (Menu 3)
BUSINESS CARDS
You can send and receive an entry in contacts to a compatible phone or other
handheld device using IR, Bluetooth, or a text or multimedia message, if supported
by your service provider.
Receive a business card using IR
1 From the menus, select Settings > Connectivity > Infrared to ensure IR is
activated.
When you receive the business card, your phone beeps, and a message appears
in the display.
2 Select Show > Save to save the business card in phone memory, or select
Exit > OK to discard the business card.
Send a business card
1 Highlight an entry from contacts that you wish to send, and select Details >
Options > Send bus. card > Via infrared, Via text message, Via Bluetooth,
or Via multimedia.
2 If the contact has more than one number, select Primary number or All
details.
3 Follow the prompts to finish sending the business card.
•1-TOUCH DIALING
You can associate any phone number with a key from 29, and dial that entry by
pressing and holding the assigned key. If you assign a number that is not already
in your contact list, the number is added to the list.
Assign a key
1 From the menus, select Contacts > 1-touch dialing.
2 Scroll to any empty slot, and select Assign.
3 If the entry is already in contacts, select Find, the desired entry, and the
desired number within the entry.
The number is assigned to the key.
4 If the entry is not in contacts, enter the number (including the area code), and
select OK, enter a name for the number, and select OK.
The number is assigned to the key and the name and number are added to the
contact list.
