2. Get started
Install SIM card and battery
Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the
battery.
For availability and information on using SIM card services, contact your SIM
card vendor. This may be the service provider or other vendor.
This device is intended for use with a BL-5C battery. Always use original Nokia
batteries. See "Nokia battery authentication guidelines," p. 92.
The SIM card and its contacts can be easily damaged by scratches or bending,
so be careful when handling, inserting, or removing the card.
1. Slide the release button (1) to
unlock and remove the back
cover (2). Remove the battery as
shown (3).
