4. Text entry
You can enter text using traditional text input , and
predictive text input . To change the text input method
and to switch between upper and lower case, press the #
key. To set the writing language, select Options > Writing
language.
■ Traditional text input
To use traditional text input, press a number key, 1 to 9,
repeatedly until the desired character appears. To add a
space, press 0. To add a number, press and hold the desired
number key. To get a list of special characters, press *.
■ Predictive text input
Predictive text input is based on a built-in dictionary to
which you can add new words. To activate predictive text
input, select Options > Prediction options > Prediction >
On. To set the prediction type, select Prediction type >
Normal or Word sugg.
