Get started Before you start using your phone, remove the back cover to insert the micro-SIM card. Remove the back cover Make sure your phone is switched off. At the bottom corner of the phone, put your fingernail in the seam between the screen frame and the back cover. Bend the back cover open, and remove it. Only use your fingers to open the cover.
Insert the SIM and memory card Important: Your device uses a mini-UICC SIM card, also known as a micro-SIM card. Use of incompatible SIM cards, or use of SIM card adapters, may damage the card or the device, and may corrupt data stored on the card. 1. Push the SIM card into the SIM card slot, contact area face down. 2. If you have a microSD card, push the card into the memory card slot until it locks into place.
Close the back cover Press the top edge of the back cover against the top edge of your phone, and snap the back cover into place. Charge the battery Connect the USB cable to the charger, plug the charger into a wall outlet, and connect the microUSB end to your phone. You can also charge the phone from a computer with the USB cable. If the battery is completely discharged, it may need to charge for up to 20 minutes before you can use your phone. The charging indicator may not be displayed in this time.
