3 USING THE SOFTWARE (SAPS)
Unless a Log In has been performed by entering the appropriate password, the only buttons
enabled in the Welcome menu are the Patient Log File and VNS Pairing Therapy buttons
(see Figure 2.3). These buttons allow the physician or therapist to assign a task and perform a
therapy session. To access the rest of the program features, the Log In button must be selected
(see Figure 3.1).

To log in and access all other SAPS screens, select the Log In button (upper right menu bar,
4th button from the right) and type the password “mti” into the pop-up shown in Figure 3.1.
At this point the program is “unlocked,” and all menus in the program are available (see Figure
3.2).
