Rear panel connections

Item Description

1 Y and X AES50 audio Ethernet sockets for passing audio and control

data to/from router.

2 Y and X Ethernet control Ethernet sockets for connection of ‘tunnelling’

Ethernet.

3 USB slave (type B) and host (type A) sockets for connection of a laptop

PC.

4 Three MIDI (musical instrument digital interface) sockets, in, out and

thru for connection of a musical instrument, such as a synthesiser. in

socket receives MIDI data. thru socket gives out the same MIDI data

that is received by the in socket. out socket gives out MIDI data

generated by the instrument itself.

5 Two GPIO 25-way connectors, in and out, for control of external

devices.

6 Mains IEC socket with on/off switch.

7 Three user-configurable modules.
