LED brightness menu (3)
The “LED brightness” menu allows you to alter the brightness — “bright”, “medium” or
“dim” — of the LEDs in the panels to the left of the LCD screen and also of the LCD
screen itself.
>> To change the brightness of the LEDs and LCD
1 In programming mode, select the “LED brightness”
menu (see “To select a menu” on page 9). The current
brightness level will be displayed on the bottom line of
the display, for example, “medium”.
2 Press SELECT. The flashing character shows you are
in LED brightness set up mode.
3 Use the up/down arrow buttons to scroll to the desired
brightness level, for example, “bright”. The brightness
of the LEDs and the LCD screen will change as you
scroll the options, according to their brightness level.
The other option is “dim”, as shown right.
4 Press SELECT to select the currently displayed
brightness. The flashing will stop.
5 Press MENU. The brightness of the LEDs and the LCD
screen will now be at the newly configured level.
LCD contrast menu (4)
The “LCD contrast” menu lets you alter the contrast of the LCD screen — “max”
(maximum), “medium” or “min” (minimum) — to suit the ambient light conditions so
that it can be viewed more clearly.
>> To view the contrast of the LCD screen
1 In programming mode, select the “LCD contrast”
menu (see “To select a menu” on page 9). The current
contrast level will be displayed on the bottom line of
the display, for example, “medium”.
2 Press SELECT. The flashing character shows you are
in LCD contrast set up mode.
3 Use the up/down arrow buttons to scroll to the desired
contrast level, for example, “max”. The contrast of the
LCD screen will change as you scroll the options,
according to their contrast level.
The other option is “min”, as shown right.
