handletietwo150VDCbreakersexternally.Theywo uldnotwithstandthehighvoltage.Highvoltage
arcingtendstoweldinternalcontactstogethersowhenyouneedthebreakertotrip,itwouldinfact
fuseitselfintheonposition.Thatcouldruinyour
entiredayorworse,sousethebreakersthatare
designedforthisextremehighvoltageDC.
Thefollowingpictureshowssix300VDCbreakersinstalledintheMNPV12‐250.Thelargereliefsinthe
busbarsallowPVwiringtoeasilyentertheupperleftpoleof
eachbreaker.These168
ampbusbarsmaybecombinedas
shownorsetupastwoseparatesystemswiththreeeachhigh
voltagebreakers.Thehighvoltagebreakerscurrentlystocked
are10A,15Aand50A.Additionalvaluesareonordersocheck
withusforavailablecurrentratings.Theseareverycustom
breakerswithlong
leadtimes,sobeawarenotallvaluesmay
beavailableforawhile.Thesebreakersareonlyavailablefrom

ThisistheregularMNPV12combinerwiththedeadfrontandmetalcoverremoved.Inthispicturethe

MNPV16:ThisnewcombinerhasalsopassedETLtesting(December08).Itisintendedforusewithupto
16touchsafefuseholders.Thecurrentratingis240amps.Itcanaccommodateupto250MCMoutput
