Industrial hygiene experts have studied long-term daily use of silica sands in sand-blasting and other occupations
generating extreme volumes of dust. ey have determined that long term, daily exposure to high concentrations
of blasting sand dust causes damage to the lungs, may causes silicosis, and may cause cancer. Do not use for sand
blasting. ere are extensive OSHA precautions required for sand blasting.
