Use and Maintenance With proper use and maintenance you can enjoy this new addition to your landscape for years to come. Bench Maintenance: • Make sure proper drainage is allowed at the base of the bench. Proper drainage allows any water that gets into the core a way escape. This way it doesn’t build up, seep through the gaps or erode blocks. • Concrete blocks can be cleaned with a gentle spray from a hose. • Boards should be periodically cleaned with soap and water and painted or stained as desired.
