1) Remove sod. Excavate the installation area to approximately 6” larger on all sides that the actual finished patio.
2) Prepare and Compact Base. Lay landscape fabric. Thoroughly install paver base to a finished thickness of 6”.
3) Level the paver base. Lay out 1” diameter pipe on base. Pour 1” of leveling sand over compacted base. Screed the leveling sand by dragging a
2×4 board over pipe.
4) Lay paver stones according to the layouts shown on steps 1-3.
5) Compact and spread sand. Compact the installed pavers with a plate compactor in both directions at least two passes. Once compacted, spread
paver locking sand on the installation and sweep into joints. Remove any remaining sand from the top of the patio.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The pictured model is a representation of this patio; less blocks may be required depending on how closely the paver stones are placed together.
