Cleaning
Tip: Fluff can be removed with a va-
cuum cleaner. This makes subsequent
wet cleaning easier.
Rinse the filter thoroughly under
clean, running water.
Squeeze the filter very carefully sev-
eral times as you rinse it.
Rinse the filter until all visible residues
have been removed.
The plinth filter must not be re-
placed dripping wet.
This can cause a fault.
The plinth filter must be perfectly
functional and undamaged after
cleaning.
If the filter is not properly cleaned or
is damaged, the flow of air and heat
will be impeded and the heat ex-
changer will be permanently obstruc-
ted.
Before and after cleaning check
the plinth filter in accordance with
the description in "Replacing the
plinth filter".
Use a damp cloth to remove any fluff
from the handle.
Replacing the plinth filter
If the tumble dryer is in continu-
ous use and is being cleaned regu-
larly the plinth filter can begin to
show signs of wear after a while.
Replace the filter immediately if you
see the following signs of wear be-
fore or after cleaning.
Poor fit
The edges of the filter do not sit prop-
erly and the filter is deformed. Fluff will
blow into the heat exchanger unfiltered
through edges that do not sit properly.
This will cause a permanent obstruction
in the heat exchanger.
