Problem Possible cause Remedy
There are humming
noises.
The compressor is
operating.
These noises are quite
normal and do not indicate
a fault.
The interior drum
lighting does not
come on.
The lighting switches off
automatically (to save
energy).
It will switch on again after
the door has been closed
and then opened.
The plinth filter is missing or
has been fitted the wrong
way round.
Check the plinth filter.
If the lamp needs to be
replaced, follow the
instructions in "Changing
the lamp" at the end of this
section.
Power cut – After the power has been restored, switch the dryer on
using the s button.
– Confirm with OK.
