If lights up in the display, the ice
cube maker is not being supplied with
sufficient water.
Make sure the stopcock is open.
The ice cube maker can be turned off
independently of the refrigeration appli-
ance if you do not want to make any ice
cubes.
Tip: If the ice cube maker is switched
off, the ice cube drawer can be used as
an extra drawer for freezing fresh food
and storing frozen food.
After a power cut, the ice cube maker
will, if it was previously switched on,
be deactivated after power is restored.
–Additional functions
After switching the ice cube maker on,
the function “Ice cube tray: set to clean-
ing position ” will appear in the dis-
play in Settings mode.
For further information on the function
go to “Cleaning and care”, “Cleaning
the ice cube tray”.
Switching the ice cube maker off for
a long time.
Risk of damage!
If the water inlet is blocked while the
ice cube maker is still in use, the wa-
ter inlet pipe can freeze up.
Turn the ice cube maker off if the wa-
ter supply is turned off (e.g. while on
holiday).
Close the stopcock for the water in-
let.
If begins to flash in the display, this
means that there is still water remaining
in the ice cube maker.
Leave the ice cube maker on for an-
other day so that the remaining ice
cubes can be produced.
Turn the ice cube maker off as soon
as the remaining ice cubes have been
produced.
Take the remaining ice cubes out of
the ice cube drawer and dispose of
them.
