Problem Cause and remedy
Only open the appliance door when necessary and
for as short a time as possible.
After a while, the temperature will return to normal by
itself.
The appliance door is not properly closed.
Close the appliance door.
After a while, the temperature will return to normal by
itself.
The ambient room temperature is too high. The
higher the ambient temperature, the longer the com-
pressor has to run.
See the information in “Location” in “Installation”.
The wine conditioning unit has not been installed
properly in the building-in niche.
See the information in “Installing the wine condi-
tioning unit” in “Installation”.
The compressor comes
on less and less often
and for shorter periods
of time. The temperat-
ure in the wine condi-
tioning unit rises.
Not a fault. The temperature setting is too high.
Correct the temperature setting.
Check the temperature again after 24hours.
The compressor runs
continuously.
This is not a fault. To save energy, the compressor
runs at a lower speed, but for longer, when less
cooling is required.
An alarm sounds. The appliance door of the wine conditioning unit has
been open for longer than approx. 2minutes.
Close the appliance door.
