Basket programme Max. load for basket 3.5kg
Note - This programme may only be used with the Miele tumble dryer
basket TRK555 (optional accessory) fitted.
- Always follow the operating instructions for the tumble dryer bas-
ket.
- Make sure that no sleeves, straps, belt straps and boot legs (for
example) come into contact with the tumble dryer drum or drum
ribs. When the drum rotates, the laundry can become knotted,
causing damage to the dryer basket and tumble dryer.
Fabrics/
items
Use this programme to dry or air items which are suitable for drying
in a tumble dryer but which are not suitable for drying using mech-
anical action.
Outerwear max.2.5kg*
Normal, Hand iron
Use for Outerwear which is suitable for tumble drying.
Proofing max.2.5kg*
Use for Fabrics suitable for tumble drying, e.g. microfibre fabrics; skiwear;
outdoor clothing; fine, close-weave cotton garments (poplin); and
tablecloths.
Note - With this programme, items can only be dried to the Normal level.
- This programme includes an additional proofing fixing phase.
- Only use proofing agents which are stated by the manufacturer as
being “suitable for use on membrane fabrics”. These agents con-
tain fluorochemical compounds.
- Do not dry fabrics which have been treated with proofing agents
containing paraffin. This poses a fire hazard.
