Fault Possible cause and solution
Fault 73
or
"Check brew unit"
^
The brew unit cannot reset to the correct position or it is
clogged and the ground coffee cannot be processed.
^
See if you can remove the brew unit (see "Cleaning and
care – Brew unit").
^
If you can remove the brew unit, clean it (see "Cleaning
and care – Brew unit").
Push the coffee ejector of the brew unit into the standard
position (see illustration).
^ Reinsert the waste container and the water tank. Do not
insert the brew unit. Close the door and turn on the coffee
system using the On/Off sensor K.
The brew unit motor will automatically move to the correct
position.
^
When the message "Insert the brew unit" is displayed, open
the door and reinsert all the parts into the coffee system.
Close the front door.
If you cannot remove the brew unit:
^
Touch the On/Off sensor K to turn off the coffee system.
Wait about 2 minutes and then turn the system back on.
Fault 227 - 230,
Fault 233
The automatic dispenser adjustment is malfunctioning.
^
To confirm the message, press OK.
The automatic dispenser adjustment will be deactivated
during beverage preparation as long as the system remains
turned on. You can still make beverages.
