Unusual behavior of the coffee system
Problem Possible cause and solution
The lighting does
not come on when
the coffee system
is turned on.
The lighting has been turned off.

Turn on the lighting (see "Settings – Lighting").
The lighting is defective.
^
Contact Technical Service.
The display
remains dark
when the coffee
system is turned
on using the On/
Off sensor K.
The On/Off sensor K was not touched long enough.
^
Touch the depression in the On/Off sensor K for at least
3 seconds.
The plug is not properly inserted into the electrical outlet.
^ Insert the plug into the outlet.
The circuit breaker has tripped due to a problem with the
coffee system, the electricity supply or another device.
^ Unplug the coffee system.
^ Contact a qualified electrician or Miele Technical Service
for assistance.
The coffee system
turns off suddenly.
The programmed turn-off time has been reached.
^
If desired, set a new turn-off time (see "Settings – Timers").
The plug is not properly plugged into the electrical outlet.
^
Insert the plug into the electrical outlet.
The coffee system
is on. The lighting
turns off suddenly.
If more than 10 minutes have passed since the coffee
system was last used, the lighting automatically turns off.
The sensor
buttons do not
respond. The
coffee system can
no longer be
operated.
There is an internal malfunction.

Open the front door of the coffee system.
The current process is stopped.
^
Unplug the coffee system.
