Park system for pauses during vacu-
uming (Fig. 26)
The Park system allows you to conveni-
ently park the suction tube and floor-
head during brief pauses.
Slot the floorhead into the slot in the
parking attachment.
If your vacuum cleaner is on a slop-
ing surface, e.g. a ramp,
– Retract the telescopic suction tube
fully
– Do not use the park system if your
vacuum cleaner has an EasyLock
suction tube.
Park system for storage (Fig. 27 + 28)
Risk of electric shock from mains
voltage.
The mains voltage is applied to the
appliance even if it is switched off.
After use, switch the appliance off at
the wall socket and unplug it.
Stand the vacuum cleaner upright.
If your vacuum cleaner has a tele-
scopic suction tube, retract the tubes
fully so that it takes up less room for
storage.
Slot the floorhead downwards into
the parking attachment.
If your vacuum cleaner has an Easy-
Lock suction tube, you can detach this
so that the vacuum cleaner requires
less storage space.
Press the release catch on the lower
suction tube section and pull the top
section out.
Push the connection piece attached
to the upper suction tube into the
lower suction tube.
Maintenance
Risk of electric shock from mains
voltage.
The mains voltage is applied to the
appliance even if it is switched off.
Before carrying out any maintenance
work, switch the appliance off at the
wall socket and unplug it.
The Miele filtration system consists of 3
accessories:
- Original Miele dustbag (type FJM)
- Motor protection filter
- Original Miele exhaust filter
These accessories will need to be re-
placed from time to time to ensure that
your vacuum cleaner performs effi-
ciently.
